Have you noticed whilst carrying out windscreen repairs that the resin in your syringe is beginning to cure if you have left it out in the open air, or sunlight too long during these hot summer days?
Esprit have been busy testing (in the Australian sun) and are introducing a new UV proof syringe. These syringes are made of UV proof material which will prevent any premature curing of the resin. The new syringes look red and are slightly chunkier than the old version, making them easier to clean and re-use. Costing the same price these new items still show how much resin to use (0.2ml), and can be used in exactly the same way; lightly insert the needle into the bottle and draw out the correct amount. To double check the amount of resin withdrawn, simply hold the filled syringe up to the light and you can easily see the amount of resin present.
The UV proof syringes guarantee that the resin is protected throughout the repair and continue to be compliant with the updated British Standard.
